1) Jiegney Udwadia (BBI batch of 2010.)
My experience as a graduate student of Banking and Insurance in KESSC Shroff College of Commerce prepared me well for my various roles in the last 10 years in the BFSI industry. Studying a mixture of Banking, Finance, Economics, and Statistics at KESSCSSC College helped me to develop the critical thinking and analytics skills I use each day when making recommendations to management regarding the financial implications of attracting new customers, developing new products, or utilizing new business strategies. In its simplest form, studying economics helped me develop a mind-set focused on the principles of opportunity cost, scarcity of resources, optimization, and an emphasis on unintended consequences and the power of incentives.
Additionally, Late Prof. Narayanswami sir (Om Shanti) channelized our young mind-set and showed us various opportunities on applying for various competitive exams to understand where we stand in terms of banking/finance knowledge to enter the BFSI industry as a working professional. Our business communication professor Dr. Emelia Norohna at least remember how I had stage fright and a high rate of speech while talking she trained me and took me to various debates held in our internal class competitions, assisted in my vocabulary which helped me in clearing my basics which in my later stage helped me in clearing IELTS for my higher studies in London, the United Kingdom at Middlesex University.
One of my most influential classes was my Econometrics and Transformation Management instructed by Prof. Sethu Madhavi madam and Prof. Pallav Shah. This class embodied the spirit of an analytical mind-set whose focus was on critical thinking, collaboration, and driving for results.
When I look back down the year’s lot of memories from playing cricket to participating in Chakravyuh festival to participating in college festivals like Annapurna day, walking the ramp for Mr. KESSC, having a debate competition, to getting scolded from Dr. Lily Bhushan madam & Dr. V.S. Kannan sir for mischief to Alka madam’s gentle scolding in Gujarati for not studying in the library, to every support staff and non-teaching staff. I thank you for all the glorious memories with every one of you.
Overall, I am proud to be a KESSC alumnus and I thank all teaching and non-teaching staff for their support in shaping my career and the person I am today!
2) Vaibhav Yadav (MSCIT batch of 2016)

I am grateful to study and be a part of such a respected and prestigious college. I have not only learned but also developed under the guidance of our faculty and especially our principal. Thus it gives me immense pleasure and happiness to receive over 140 trophies for my college being the cultural secretary. The college gave me exposure in the field of NSS, cultural committee, and many more associations and social work. The college staff has always helped every student to grow and enhance their true potential. My special thanks to Dr. Lily Bhushan ma’am, Dr. V.S. Kannan, and Sangeeta ma’am.
I wish and hope for the betterment of K.E.S Shroff College and will always help the college in all possible ways.
4) Divyesh Joshi (TYBMM BATCH 2017)
KESSC is not just a word, it’s a way of life for me, and it has changed my life because KESSC has thought many things in my life. A special thanks to Principal Ma’am and Vice-Principal Kannan Sir and many other supporting staff members, from teaching to office staff.
The college has many festivals and activities, and I have learned a lot about them. A special thanks to the Cine and Dramatics team # my family, with whom I have learned a lot about theatre and street play. Learning aspects for everyone who wants to know about their skills in today’s time, like reading a book, are equal to some.
During my college days, there were two hidden gems in my life: Mrs. Rajlaxmi Anand and Shobha Venkatesh. They guided me as a son and credit go to them for where I am today in the entertainment/film industry. I have completed a successful four years in the industry as an Assistant Director. I have done Ads, feature films, and web series.
Even if today people ask me which college I would like to attend at this age, I would like to say only one thing, which is KES SHROFF COLLEGE

9) Karan Gandhi (TYBAF 2019)
College life!! Experiencing one of life’s best phases. The same I can say I have experienced being an alumnus of KESSC Shroff College. From the seminars, professors, functions/events everything has been so informative, learning as well as enjoying. The college has moulded my personality and clarified my vision of the future. I am very grateful to KESSC for providing guidelines and motivation to inspire me to achieve my goals.
Achievements-applauds, opportunities-thoughts, this is what I gained from KESSC, it gave me a platform that I will cherish always. Someday I won and some days I learned. The teachers were like a backbone for me, friends were the reason for my smile and juniors were like younger siblings. Everyone recognized my talent with open arms always.
10) Shraddha Ambekar (BCOM 2009)
College life is known as one of the most memorable years of one’s life. It is entirely different from school life. College life exposes us to new experiences and things that we were not familiar with earlier.
In my college life along with my studies, I and my friends enjoyed a lot of other things. We participated in various dance competitions, sports activities, singing, elocution, and many more. I strongly miss our college annual day practice. It was really fun and enjoyable.
All teachers & non-teaching staff of KES College including the Principal are always friendly with us. We had a grateful time with our loving and caring teachers. Every day at our college, we had new experiments for Study and other activities. Teachers had always encouraged me to participate in various inter-college competitions.
I recall one of the memorable incidents about the college. As I was in third and TYBCOM, I’ve decided not to participate in the annual day event. One day I was attending a lecture on Economics. Suddenly principal madam noticed me in the lecture and asked me to participate in the annual day event & assured me that they’ll help me cover up my missed lectures. Our principal Bhushan Madam always liked my singing and especially a song sung by me namely “Satyam Shivam Sundaram”. In addition to singing, my puppet dance on the Song “Elo Ji Sanam Hum Aa Gaye”. Whenever I met madam after my college days, she always used to call me “Apsara aali”.
After an Evergreen experience of college life, I joined the KES office as Jr. Clerk. In that period, I enjoyed work time with loving non-teaching staff & all young-hearted junior teachers.
The time I spent in my college life is the best in all my journeys to date. If I get the wish granted, I want to go back to my college days.
